Submission
Islam means submission to the will of The Almighty God, (The God=Allah in Arabic).
It is about living one’s life in full submission and obedience to the laws and guidance of the Almighty God by following the teachings of the Quran and the teachings of the last and final Prophet of God, Muhammad- Peace be upon him.
Islam teaches that God exists, and He is One, absolutely One, without any partner. He is The Creator of the entire universe, not a human, or any other part of the creation and most importantly, only He alone deserves to be worshipped.
God is not just a Muslim, Arab or any Ethnic God but the One Who is Unique and Unseen and is the God of the entire universe. The God of the entire creation.
A Muslim is the one who submits his will to the will of Almighty God.
Declaration of Faith (Shahadah)
To submit to One True God, Allah and to become a Muslim one must accept and submit totally from the heart, utter by tongue and must sincerely follow by actions.
Declaration by Utterance
In Arabic-“Ash-hadu alla ilaha illallah, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadar-Rasulullah”
Repeat in English- “
“I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah, And I bear witness that Muhammad( peace be upon him) is the messenger of Allah”.
